No problem with that, NEW.....now you just have to ask Atlas how he aimed in this experiment.

Once you get past 45deg, though....you'd be hitting "slightly" right. More cant, more right....but...

NEW....

If you're going to try to hit the sme spot (what this thread's ALL about).....why wouldn't you just START with your pin on the target.....leave it there.....and cant your bow 45 deg?

It doens't shoot "flat".....and the reason you have to use your 30 yd pin is because of the distance from your arrow (horizontal plane) to your sight pins.

Arthur's results make sense.

You SHOULD hit left.......because after you cant (remember the clock)....you're then going to have to move your pin LEFT to get it back on the target.

Imagine your pin is on the 12 of a clock. If you rotate it to the 1:30 position (canted 45deg).....has it "risen" or "fell"?

When you move your pin.....everything else moves with it.

Go get your bow and go outside, right now.....and set your 20 yd pin on the...

Actually....they move DOWN and to the right.

Mine impacted low.....but not much left. Might also be attrubutable to the shorter distance I was shooting from, though.

I can't for the life of me see your arrow hitting RIGHT, though. I just can't (no pun intended;))

Arthur.....All I can tell you is....go try it. I was VERY skeptical....and I went down to shoot it at 20yds. I can do it again and take photos.....but the two groups of 3 arrows were about the same...
