I totally agree. David Tubb won the national match for years with the 6.5. The bullet is so incredibly effecient. Even in the 6.5X55 Ackley, it's a winner. I'm going to build a 6.5X'06 Ackley soon...

I think my ultimate long range deer rifle would be a 6.5X'06 Ackley on a Mauser98 action with a real nice piece of Claro Walnut.:D
