Rem. said they chamfered the muzzel and lapped the barrel. What ever they did it worked and took about 2 weeks from start to finish. not to bad of customer service in my book!:)

My son bought a Remington Etronix 243 and it would only shoot 3-4 inch groups he called Rem. they paid the postage both ways & repaired the problem now it shoots 1/2 inch groups.:D:D:D

I will have to agree with Drilling Man but I don't have the means to own one. My choice would be a valmet 412 30-06 12 gauge comb. gun probable the most accurate out of the box rifle I have ever...
