Actually we have true rio hunts, which occur in Phillips county near Philipsburg KS. The NWTF does recognise the birds there as true RIOS.

Just so you understrand if there are both Easterns and Rio's in an area the NWTF will not register them as True breeds, they would consider them hybrids. Just a thought if you are looking for a true...
