I thought you were suppose to sight in at 25yds.If you sight in at 25yds were will I be at 50-75-100 and 125 yds?

I switched scopes,I put an old Bausch & Loumb (2.5 to 8) on my 3006.I can't remember what distance you sight in a 3006.I'll be shooting probably 100 yds ,sometimes closer sometimes a little...
