Up to $300 on a scope. For the quality, I've been looking at Leupold and Vortex. The idea of a scope with a reticle specifically for 17 WSM was intriguing. Not a deal breaker but still intriguing....

Since I'm in CA, I'm stuck with the non-lead ammo. In 17 WSM, Winchester makes a 15 grain non lead bullet that is supposed to have a MV of 3300 FPS. It's a screamer but I would guess a little less...

Thanks. Some of the reviews have useful information and a lot don't. I liked their reticle but I can make other scopes' reticles work.
