Cal Vortex is a pretty good scope. Also don't overlook Konus. I recently purchased 2 of them with the lighted reticle (only a small dot in the center of the scope - not the entire reticle). I put a 2-7x on my T/C Encore .45 cal muzzy and a 3-9x on my Savage Axis 350 Legend.
