That's a good point, Big Uncle - if the CZ American is the Mini action, it's a hard pass for me as a target rifle. Great rifle for hot foot hunting, not so much for precision work.

Odd to see a price difference between cartridges within the same model. The 204R is kind of a "love it or hate it" round for a lot of folks, and tends to be less versatile than the 223 or 22-250 you...

As mentioned above, neither would be my choice for a target rifle. However, the CZ, in my experience, will shoot smaller than the Ruger.

What made you choose the 204 Ruger?
