You could go to the site and tie trail tape 36" off the ground , or 45 or 60 . I f its under the 36 its small , just under the 45'' its big, just under the 60''..... run away its going to eat you...

.243 is my choice for a rifle. I usually try go get them with my long bow or muzzleloader. Got drawn this year and am going to try with a decoy and my longbow. The nice thing about .243 is bullets...

thanks skeeter, the whitetails are no problem, I live on an acreage. Hopefully I can get the whitetail , mule and a bear with the bow, ants with a muzzleloader and the elk and moose with the 300...

I was drawn for antlerless elk in zone 6. I dont have a clue where to go for them > I hunted for bulls there about 10 years ago but the landowner died and it changed hands. If anybody has any ideas...
