Lehman Great Plains Rifle.

I just received a Lehman Great Plains rifle and need some info on it. Can Sabot type bullets be fired from it? Any info would be appreciated.

I agree that the MINI isnt going to be what you want. I do although, own a Ruger M77 Mark II in a 270 that I love.

This is going to sound unusual but if you are looking for a complete setup...

I have a 257 Roberts in a Ruger77 and love it. It is considered "obsolete" to the 25-06 and such but I have never had anything but good luck with it.

Actuallly, I agree that the 270 is the best for all around hunting. With the 130 and 150 grain options, it is the perfect all around caliber.
