I have the same gun as you and just shot my first powerbelts yesterday. My 45 seems to like 100gr of 777 ( 110 seemed just a tad too much ) pushing a 275gr areotip powerbelt out of it. I don't think...

I have read on a previous post awhile back that you can use a finger cot ( little latex tube to cover a cut on a finger ) to help keep moisture out of your barrel/powder and that you can shoot...

Isopropyl alcohol and washer fluid

I have heard that I should run a patch of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and windshield washer fluid between shots , what is the reason for this . To clean is my guess but is this mixture better than black...

Anyone have an opinion on powerbelt bullets ? They are recommended for my M/L but thought maybe CVA had a deal with powerbelts to recommend them.Do the aero tips penatrate better than the hollow...

powder vs. pellet

My CVA 45cal manual states that I should use " magnum Pellets " when shooting above 100 grains, also recomends double f powder.
Not that I would use 150 grains ( after reading numerous posts...
