Rocks State Park

Bowhunting Loch Raven Resevoir

I thought I read last year that a lottery or bowhunting only area was proposed for Loch Raven. I havent heard anything else about it and was wondering if anyone else had any details. Thanks, Eric

Skinning Black Bear

If I am lucky enough to score a black bear in the upcoming Maryland hunt how should it be skinned? If its its good size and I want a full body mount should it be a dorsal cut or as if it were going...

Mickey Mouse boots. They are military boots that you can get from Sunnys or Sportsmans Guide. They are not to good for hiking but for sitting in a stand you cant beat them. Buy them 1 size larger...

I hunt in central Maryland have have seen more rutting activity, bucks really chasing, in the past week than the rest of the season. Is it the second rut or just the colder weather getting them in...

Maryland Coyotes

Has anyone had any luck calling/hunting coyotes in Maryland. I have heard that they are on the increase and friends have seen them in Baltimore County where I am from. Any info is appreciated.
