I like you gun, but its a pain to propery clean, anyway about you loads. I'd step down a little in bullet weight unless you're hunting elk or moose or if you're hunting tight cover where range is not...

you need 1/4 by weight ( 1/4 lbs per lb. of ground venison) of ground pork or the cheapest hamburger you can buy. You have to have the fat or it won't hold togeather.

Elk breakfast sausage

I had breakfast sausage made from elk in colorado. It seems to have beef in it and is a little heavy for breakfast. Any cooking suggestions?

which ever one you choose, use them at a pre-agreed time, except emergencies. I lost a bear as big as a VW bug when my brother-in-law called me seconds before this bear would have stepped into view...

I tried wearing good gor-tex gaiters in the snow this season,any suggestions how to keep the big chunk of frozen snow from building up under the boot on the strap? A dozen steps and you can't walk...
