If you shoot the deer in the right spot,it will kill the deer. I'd much rather use a 30'06 or .270 though.

I have a Rem 700 ADL,but in .270. It is extremely accurate. I've had mine for 5 years and have killed numerous deer with it. You can really put it where they live with this rifle.

I would choose the .270 all day long. I'd shoot the 130 grain bullet,but that is a personal choice depending on what you're shooting.

I use a climber and always try to get at least 20 feet up. I see way more deer at 20 feet than I did at 12-14 feet.
