The material is real solid, 1/4" - 1/2" thick material....don't think a varmit is gonna be chewing through it....ants? didn't think about that....never had any ant problems

Double lung or right behind the shoulder for me. I know a guy who feeds deer by hand (he has no concept of game management btw) and I've seen deer with half a nose and/or jaw. Just too risky for me....
