I purchased the same rifle this year as well and had no problem sighting mine in. As stated must be something with the scope mounting. Good luck.

Ruger M77 Mark II 30-06 with Burris 3-9x40 Fullfield II scope. The rig fires straight and true. Looking forward to the start of the season.

I use Mossy Oak Break-up but always find it on sale at Acadmey. However, looking at a 3-D suit on sale at Bass Pro Shops. I hunt the woods here in Eastern Oklahoma.
