    Default Remington 870 scope mount
    I just picked up a Remington Express 870 12ga and it is not tapped. I will be using this gun as a slug gun for deer. What is the best way to get a scope mount on this gun? Do I buy the mount that goes in the pins by trigger or do I get it tapped by a gunsmith?

    Either / or. Personally, I'd find a competent gunsmith and let him do it. Just my $ .02.
