Default Laser Boresighter

I was looking at some of the moderately priced laser boresighters on line, particularly a Center Point ($35 on sale from $65) and a Bushnell ($25 on sale from $48). Anybody use these or a similar product you'd recommend? Are they worth it?

Honestly I would pick up the cheapest one you can find as, IMO, their only purpose is to get you on paper at 25 yards or so. I know a few that use them as their sole "sighting in" for the season.

I use a Laserlyte also. Reading some of the reviews though it seems like a lot of people miss the purpose of a laser boresighter.

Like a lot of things.........

They are good to have, when you "need" one !

Thanks, all. I'll take a close look at that laselyte. As Sheridan says, "They are good to have, when you "need" one !" I've been caught needing one a few times -- have to travel to shoot (and pay) and had a couple bad boresights by so called gun smiths between me and my friends. Would have saved us some grief. I get that they're crude tools and are just intended to get you on paper.
