Right now I have this set up as my turkey gun. 12 g with 28" barrel.
Looking for suggestions on a good scope for turkey season and also does anyone know how to get my hands on a slug barrel for Whitetail this fall?
Thanks

For birds? Redring sight.
With the slug barrel, I'd look for a good 1-4x, 1-5x, or 1-6x. Or a 1.5-6x, if you don't want a true 1x. I don't think any more magnification is necessary on a slug gun. There's tons of options in that range. If you're concerned about dawn/dusk performance, go with something low magnification, large objective. Good example would be the Vixen 1.5-6x42, low mangification with wide field of view, and enough objective to collect usable ambient light before dawn and after dusk. Pricey, but just an example of the type of scope I'd look for.

Got a Leopold 2-7x33 on a valmet 412 12ga/223, leoplod 2-7 on savage 24 20ga/22 mag. A redfield golden five starr on savage 24 12/222, a tasco world class on savage 24 , Simmons 8 point on savage 24, and a redhead basspro scope on a savage 24. Haven't used the one with the basspro scope a lot. But all seem to Handel the recoil. The Leopold on the 20/22 mag is a regular shotgun scope witch is parrallaxe free at 75 yard.
