So I think I am sold on the Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40. Opticsplanet has a great price on it right now and I know its a good quality piece. So now I am looking at mounts. I was told that I need solid steel mounts as aluminum and hollow mounts would not be able to take the recoil from a 300 winmag. That being said however, I heard a lot of people are using the DNZ products mount (which is aluminum) So what do you guys recommend for mounts?

Check out Warne mounts. Very sturdy and reasonably priced. My favorite mounts are Talley's though.
