scope recommendation for a Mini-14

Hi, I'm looking for scope recommendations for a Ruger Mini-14 Target rifle. Will be using it mostly for target shooting and varminting. Any suggestions?

3-9 Nikon would do it.

I really like the Aimpoints and own a half dozen or so. I have the H1 on my mini-14 and I really like it. Very light weight and fits the mini like it was designed especially for it. Click the photo below for more details. Well worth the money.
