Default Conquest or Minox

OK,next move is to scope my new Sako. I am leaning toward a Zeiss Conquest or Minox variable power. Any thoughts?

Conquests are good and have a good track record. Minox seem good, but have shorter market exposure. What is your selection criteria? Maybe there are other choices to consider.

Criteria isn't anything special. Just the perfect hunting scope with best light gathering ability and clearest image in a 2-10 or 4-12 with a 42-44 objective. Being able to see through trees would be a bonus!

I'd definitely look at the Sightron Big Sky line-up (in addition to the Conquests).

If you decide on a Minox let me know. I have a brand new one that has never been out of the box. It is a 3X15X50 with side focus and a BDC reticle. $400+shipping. Not a demo or sample. I have it listed for sale on another forum. PM me if you are interested. Tom.
