None of those. You'd get similar glass for much less money with one of the Vortex Vipers on clearance right now. Plus you get a warranty that's just as good if not better. If I had to pick between those, the VX-3 3.5-10x40 would be my choice.

Either of the VX-3's would work great. Final decision would probably depend on the rifle it was going on. The Vortex Viper's seem to get great reviews, but who knows if they will be around years from now if you need the warranty. If you are going to spend the money on a VX-3, you might want to check into a Zeiss Conquest. A lot of scope for the money.

Yep the Zeiss is another one. If you are going to spend the money on one of those VX-3's why not get the Zeiss 3-9x40 that will have much better glass?

Do they have much better glass? I have both. Do you? I like both.

Please quit commenting on things you have no clue about. Do you even have a vortex you keep recommending?

It looks like you have longer range rifles and scopes already, so I would pick the 2.5x8 for a model 7. The 2.5x8 is one of the finest hunting scopes that I have ever used. I have that scope on a .375, a .338 WM, a .308 and a .270 and have used them all over North America and a few parts of Africa.
I also have the other two scopes that you mentioned. All three are tough, reliable, and clear. You can't make a wrong choice with any of them.

I have to agree. For all my hunting these days I love a 2-7. Thats mostly east coast hunting. Sure if it was west coast, I would enjoy the 3.5-10
