Default Red dot or holographic help

I have an Encore 15" 444 Marlin barrel that I'd like to top with either a good red dot or holographic type sight. I really don't want any magnification what so ever.

Quality is very important to me so give me your suggestions! As far as price, I'd like to try to keep it under $300 if I can!

Thanks!!

Just got a new 44mag light hunter, and kicking around the same.

I have an eotech on my AR. Don't think I want that on my setup. Just not compact enough. I do want a reddot, but want a aimpoint Compm4, but don't have the dime for that.

I hear ya there! I don't want to spend $4 or $500 either.

What about the Leupold Gilmore red dot?

I have zero experience with reddot. Except working on peoples crossbows and from what I seen, stay away from low end models.

I just know pistols like what I got and you have are rough on scopes. Real rough. So I am inclined to pay a lot.

I will be interested to see what you get.

I have a 2-7 on my 460 and its just not useful. I like you want lots of FOV and no mag.

I just noticed the Leupold Prismatic. They are aweful proud of them though. Looks like it'll take over $400 to buy one. BUT they say they are "practically indestructible"
