Eye Relief Problems
#11
I know with the Nikon I gave away the issue was more the mounts.
When I positioned my scope on the mounts to get the best eye relief the eye piece, interfered with my engaging my safety, on my Mauser action. It was so bad my gun had no safety. I could have put higher mounts on, so the safety would clear. But I like very low mounts they are important to me more so than that particular scope. When I bring up my gun to fire, I want the butt of the stock to cradle my shoulder At the same time my eye is level with the centre of my crosshairs when I place it on target.I like my rifle set up, to be one with myself.I love the set up I have and glad someone could get use of that scope.Nothing against Nikon I use their D80 cameras Love them.Just doesn't suit this particular gun for my hunting needs.
