A man sent me a Redfield ultra lite he purchased for under $150.....it's a 2-7 variable in matt black finish.
I'm building him a custom 6.5 chambering on a M-98 Mauser and he wants this scope installed on it to do the trial shooting.
This is as nice a scope as I've seen in a long time and compares with scopes costing many times this cost. It works nicely, is sharp and crystal clear and the crosshairs are bold!
The report is lacking field use or even range use.....merely a report of a visual nature but it sure looks great to me.....
If, after some range testing things change, I'll say so.....but I'm seriously thinking it'll do just fine at the range and in the field!

There have been quite a few reports of the poi changing a couple of inches at different magnification levels. However, not all of them seem to have this issue as some guys say theirs doesn't do it, but I've also heard quite a few guys say theirs does. Hopefully he got a good one. Other than that issue they seem to be getting good reviews.
