Scope - H&R 20GA. Ultra Slug Gun

What scope do you recommend for a H&R 20GA Ultra Slug Gun? Also what slug works best for you. I have heard a lot of good things about Hornady SST's.

I had that same gun a while back, I had a bushnell 3200 3-9X w/ all steel weaver mounts. It held up good shooting 20ga 1oz lightfield slugs. I really liked the rainguard feature too.

We have 4 H&R USHs here and they are all fit with straight 4X scopes. Really can't see the need to have variable power. All of our scopes are Simmons and there hasn't ever been an issue with any of them.

I pull the factory rail off and make sure it everything is 100% oil-free and then secure tight with lock-tite. I mount the rings with a dowel and lock-tite then finally the scopes with lock-tite on those screws too. Never had a problem with the mounts coming loose.
