This month I am going to the Outer Banks of NC, Corolla specifically...and I was wondering If anyone had any luck fishing there. Because I'm on vacation with my parents, I'll only be able to fish off piers...but I'll still be fishin'! If anyone has had any luck or heard anything, It would be a great help.
-Thanks

A good head boat down there is the Trophy Hunter. Try mud minnows off the pier. Good Luck.

We did some fishing down there last year when I was at Nags Head. Most of what we caught were cobia. We're making another surf fishing trip down to Oregon Inlet (Hatteras) again this year.

Thanks to all-
While down there, we went off Nags Head Pier...and got into skate like you wouldn't believe! We caught about sixty skate in two and a half hours. Then for the rest of the trip we surf fished just outside our house. We caught good sized croaker, sea mullet, more skate, and a few smallish bluefish. I hooked into a good blue, I thought he would go about 10 pounds...but those teeth cut my 30 pound leader...no big deal.
I will try to post pics when they get developed...only had a little disposable
Thanks again for the tips!

Just got back myself. Croakers, spanish, spots, stripers, and monster skates!!!! Great time down there. Never did fish a pier, but caught a lot nonetheless!
