Default Black rockfish and Dungies from OR

Here's a few pix from earier this month. I went out on a headboat with family, out of Newport, OR. We limited out, 7 fish each and got 47 keeper crabs.

Cat-van, with the bent rod is my father-in-law. Huu-loc is a bro-in-law. We ate ourselves sick on crabs and fried rockfish. It was great.

That's a lot of crab. How do you catch them from a party boat?

I would guess they lay out a string of traps to soak while they are fishing.
