Not knowing much about saltwater and what is considered a "gamefish", I would think that any shark that can get over 8 feet long to be worthy to hold such name!

We are limited to a 4/0 reel on our pier so if we do get something on the hook like 10' balcktip it will usually spool us or break our line. You want some good eating? A 3' blacktip, cut in small one inch chuncks, roll in crackermeal and fry in peanut oil....Mm, Mm! Tastes like scallops! The only thing you HAVE to do when you catch one is to slice open the gills and let it bleed out or it will have a slight bad taste to it.

Nope it is considered a nusiance here. They say sharks are becoming extinct but i can go out and catch 100 different sharks behind a shrimp boat 1 miles off the beach i dont believe it for a minute
