i'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.after you seat the bullet there are some copper shavings where the bullet meets the case. i've had this happen with my 300 win mag and my 308. i use a rcbs rock chucker press with rcbs dies loading nosler bt 150g and 180g with win cases. the cases are new unprimed that are run through the dies and then champhered and beveled using an rcbs case prep station.i don't see this when i load 243,270 or 30-06 so i'm kinda at a lose. any idea's out there on whats going on and what i can do to fix this?

I have had it happen to me even after doing all that you have said (running through dies, champhered, ect.) I usually only see it with new casings though. I don't know if they are more fire formed after you shot them or what. I think the case is just tight and they need more champhering.

I had it happen until I get tired of it and investigated.Turned out the chamfering tool was pushing up a small burr in the neck. I give them a couple strokes with a chamber brush, nylon or copper, before loading. No more shavings.
