so then you have someone who used Imr 4831 assume that since they dont make IMR anymore that Hogden 4831 is the same because it has the same number...

Seriously, it will take a long time to run out. It took them 15 years or more to run out of H870 from surplus.

The two powders are almost always within 1 grain of max load from each other in standard rounds like your 270.
