Got a friend who needs some 7.7 ammo, any help would be great. I think 308 cases work but what bullets powder???????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????

Are you referring to 7.7mm Japanese (Arisaka)? If so, here's a link that should help you out: http://www.reloadersnest.com/frontpa...?CaliberID=217

Looks like the .30-06 can be used to form brass, but the base diameter is a little smaller than the 7.7mm. Takes 0.311" bullets like the .303 British and the 7.62x54R Russian cartridges, which are available. Looks like Norma also still makes brass, which would provide a better fit than reformed .30-06 brass.

I think Norma still makes empty brass for the 7.7 jap, you should look into it. Norma brass is usually on the expensive side but if i wanted it bad enough i think id just buy some rather then having the headache of trying to make some. good luck

If you can wait a bit, Graf's will have 7.7 Japanese brass available at about $28 per hundred, same as their other military brass.

At that price,i would jump on it for its hard to find that stuff except for norma,and they really don,t give it away. vangunsmith
