Default 220 swift

I just bought one of these rifles and was wondering if some of you could share your load data for it. I truely appreciate it.

38 grains of 4064 with a 50 gr Hornady V max......work up .2 gr at a time til you lose accuracy. My 220 is dialed in at 38.2 at 4000'/sec....oooooh, love that 220 Swifty!!!

I've been very happy with H-414 in mine....primarily I use 55 gr BTs but also use the 50 gr TNT as well.

I wouldn't use any powder faster burning than H-414

I guess somebody had to pipe in with that... I thought about that caliber...... for a second. Then chose the 220 swift.

the 220 swift is fine, just i like to tone down my 22-250 loads to around 3500 fps with 50 grain V-max bullets and figured if i did that with a 220 there would be to much extra space in the casing which could lead to ignition inconsistancy. But if you prefer to throw you bullets at mach 10 all the time then the 220 is the way to go.
