CT Partition vs Partition
I was wondering if anybody has switched over from standard Partitions to the CT Partition. Or if anybody uses the CT line how is the accuracy compared to standard Partitions ? Is that Moly coating actually doing anything significant ? Anybody have any actual field reports on how they performed ? Thanks in advance.

RE: CT Partition vs Partition
I use both in a 300 win mag and a 300 wsm....they shoot about the same as regular partitions in the 300 win mag and the 300 wsm likes the regular partitions.

RE: CT Partition vs Partition
CT =Combined Tecnologies ,A hybrid bullet developed by winchester and Nosler to compete with the Barnes bullet .

RE: CT Partition vs Partition
Besides the "LubaloX" (moly) coating, there are also differences in the jackets, and the CT Partition has a steel cup around the rear lead core.

halcon and wingnut. I just got the winchester catalog and I now see. thanks for the info. It seems to me that the ct partition looks like it has a thicker forward jacket than the nosler too. Am I right in seeing this too? Probable a better bullet then the nosler too. Does anyone have any real world experience with this bullet on animals. I bet it would retain more weight then the nosler.

RE: CT Partition vs Partition
Bear in mind that Lazzeroni buys undersized regular partitions and then plates them to specs. He refuses to use CT partition.
