Just acquired some 55gr Nosler BT's in a swap. Haven't yet loaded the .243, but thinking these should make for a very FAST coyote load. Anyone load this combo and have a pet load they might want to share?

I shot some when they first came out. Accuracy out of my gun was not great. Wrong twist rate for a slug that light. But they sure did a number on the yotes. Performance was similar to my 220 swift. As far as a load, I lost it a long time ago.

Sorry I do not have any load data for the 243 win. What I can say is that the 55gr BT is an absolute beast on varmints out to 400 yards. The bullet has a really low BC so it loses velocity fast and I think thats why it kinda peters out as far as expansion at the longer ranges. I have a 6mm ackley Imp and was shooting the 55gr at 4350fps before switching to 107gr SMKs. The loads acounted for quite a few groundhogs that were literally just fur and eyeballs, and one unfortunate fox that was cut into 2 pieces that flew 5 or 6 feet apart. Accuracy was excellent with 1.5" groups at 400 meters.
