RE: ballistic tips
 

I've used Balistic Tips in my 30/06 with good results. I used 165 gr. BT's on caribou and 150 gr. BT's on mule deer and pronghorn. Next week, I hope to fill some tags using the 150 Ballistic Tips in PA.
Ballistic Tips are a good choice of bullet if you hunt on public land. If a deer is hit well with a BT it usually drops on impact instead of running 100yds. and somebody else possibly taking a shot and claiming the deer.
