RE: Have you heard this before
6.5 Carcano is one of the best accruate rifles there is according to the Warren report
don't you remember that is the very same rifle lee harvey Oswald used to kill John Kennady with at about 100 yards So now you know first hand it was all a lie But really all you need to get is some of them magic bullets Lee used that turns corrners and kills everything in the area you aim at. |
RE: Have you heard this before
According to my "Speer Reloading Rifle & Pistol Manual #12", and "Nosler Reloading Guide Number 4". 59.0 grs. of IMR-4350 are not compressed loads, but they are MAX loads. I use compressed loads all the time, but they have all been worked up from MIN load. Good luck.

RE: Have you heard this before
59 grains of IMR 4350 is listed as the max load by Nosler for a 150 grain bullet. You should start lower and build up to that load to insure that your particular rifle won't be at excessive pressure for that load. Just a safety precaution that all reloaders should adhere to. Your rifle will likely take the load fine but you never know.

RE: Have you heard this before
I'm reloading 3006's for the first time, I'm going with 49gr of imr 4350 with 150gr points and I notice that the powder came up in to the neck of the cases just a little ways, well I went ahead and seated the points and for some reason I shuck them and I couldn't hear the powder shake....... So I'm maybe parodied but this is the first rifle shells that I've shuck that I couldn't hear the powder shaking in them, So is this something to wary about or not ? I've reloaded other rifle shells before and could allways hear the powder in side. Mike |
