Default RE: Barnes X Question

I dont think that anyone who has shot animals w/ an X bullet will argue that there terminal performance on game is second to NONE, the two problems I've heard(not seen) are poor accuracy, solved by the triple shock. and fouling problems, I moly coat mine and have no fouling whatsoever now. The X is the best hunting bullet out there in my oppinion.

Default RE: Barnes X Question

I always had decent accuracy with X bullets in my rifles. I used the XLCs the last couple of years and this is my first year trying triple shocks. The accuracy is great. In our camp we have taken about 15-20 deer with X bullets in various calibers. Most of them dropped in their tracks and a couple ran a few strides but piled up within 30 yards. The deer ranged from 100lb doe to 200lb buck.
