Default 300 Win Mag

Recipies for 300 Win Mag, I plan on a recipe of Alliant 25 with 165 and 180 partitions, but I will consider some other recipies.
Alliant 22 seems to have high presures with no benifit is velocity and is prone to fouling in my experence due to the slow burning.

Federal 215M, usually I try several for best results though when I get closer to a load.

I use 180 gr Rem Coreloks, I tried the partition but they didn't shoot well in my gun. Win M-70. My buddy shoots a Tikka hunter in .300 Wm and he likes the partitions. We both use 75g of Imr 4831. I have shot .5" groups at 100 yds out of my gun with this load at 100 yds from the bench. This gives me a Mv of 3000 Fps.

The best load I've found for my Sako 75 in 300WM is 62gr of IMR 4320 behind a 150gr Nosler Partition. It's a not a super hot load or heavy bullet but it's accurate (1/2" @ 100). At 3120fps it does everything I need it to do. I haven't done much other experimenting w/ this rifle since I found this load but I'm looking forward to testing out some heavier bullets w/ it; 165, 180, maybe 200-220.

has not seen this post or I would not have posted my other one.....have a great load for my gun, with the new Barnes TripleShock....

77 grains of RL-22
CCI magnum Large Rifle Primers
MUST make sure you do the .050 off the lands (make sure it fits your magazine)
This load shot amazingly accurate....had a group at 300 yards (only group I shot at that range) of 1.25".......yes 1.25" at 300 yards... for me atleast that is amazing!!

I am useing a Remington mod. 700 BDL. With a 26 inch barrel.

Useing

165 gr. Nosler Part.
Rem. Brass Cases.
77 gr of RL 22
Fed. # 215 Primers
COL 3.450

I am getting an average of .75 groups at 100 yards.
Vel. = 3100 FPS

I have never had a problem with the RL 22 powder. I pretty much use it in 90 % of the rifles that I have, and reload for.

I WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR THIS LOAD. THIS LOAD WORKS FOR MY RIFLE , AND IT IS A MAX LOAD!!!
