all around hunting load for 454 casull
I recently picked up a super redhawk in 454 casull. My hope is to find an expanding bullet/load that would be suitable for both deer and elk at <100yds. My leanings are towards a 300g jacketed bullet. Any suggestions? What are reasonable accuracy expectations with this gun at 50 yds open sighted? Thanks in advance.

Try the Hornady 300 gr factory load ,I used it on hog and deer . If you hand load use the XTP-MAG bullet.
Depending on your eyes ,2 " . I use a Millit 30mm red dot sight and can get sub 4" groups at 100 yds with several factory loads and about 3" groups with my full power hand load with me shooting , probely better for others.
