I picked up a box of 139gr. Horn. Interlock SST's yesterday and loaded up a batch last night with 42grains of RL-15. What kind of performance should I expect with this load? I have never shot a SST bullet from Hornady. Should this prove to be pretty accurate. My rifle loves 140gr. Sierra Gamekings and 139gr. HOrn SP's with this same load of RL-15.

In my 308 and my 30-06 they are the best shooting bullets I use, noslers ballistic tips shoot very well also, i have noticed i get better accuracy with them at hotter loadings. Good luck.

Those should be good but so are Ballistic Tips. I've shot both and BT's were a little more accurate from my Browning Micro Medallion. I think 140 gr is about max for the 08 because of powder constraints with larger bullets.

A buddy of mine loads up to a 175 grain bullet with his 7mm-08 seems to do well with the heavier bullets. Yeah those sst's are great bullets

I tested the 140gr Interbond and the 140gr Accubond, in both 7mmWSM and 7mmRemMag. The Accubond won the accuracy score by not much, but did produce consistantly better groups at all ranges. I know that you asked about Interlock, but perhaps you will want to try the Accubond.
