7WSM:Accubond vs Interbond ?
I have tested both the Nosler Accubond and the Hornady Interbond in my Winchester Ultimate Shadow chambered for 7mmWSM. Using 64gr of IMR4350, Fed Mag primers, 140gr bullets and new Win. cases, I am getting right at 3200fps from the 24" bbl, at 10' from the muzzle. The Nosler edges out the Interbond, accuracy wise, in my rifle. The Nosler is grouping consistantly inside 2" @ 200yds, shooting off the bench. Increasing the IMR4350 load opens up groups.
Does anyone have an accurate load that I can test in my rifle, that is giving appreciably higher velocities? Propellant? I had tested Barnes TSX 140gr bullets, but he Nosler Accubond beats that bullet in accuracy, by a wide margin. |
RE: 7WSM:Accubond vs Interbond ?
Although I shoot a 7mm rem mag and not the WSM version, I just worked up a load of 79.5 H870 and a 160 Accubond. Excellent paper results, .75" at 100yds. I will use this on moose next month. If these bullets retain the weight as advertised, with that kind of accuracy I will likely drop partitions where I can. I hope they expand the lineup and include .35 cals.

Nosler's accuracy load for 140 grain accubond is 65.5 grains of H4831.

My nosler manual shows 68.5 grains max of RL 19 approx 100 fps faster than 4350. I would think RL 22 would be an even faster velocity powder also but my manual does not list it.
