I'm about to start my second trap season and would like to reload my own shells this year instead of buying. I bought a MEC multi-stage reloader to replace my MEC JR. I shoot a modified choke in a 12 gauge O/U.
Any advice on a proven load?
Thanks,

the last few years I've been using 17.5gr of Red dot with W209 primer,Rem fig 8 wad and 1 1/8 oz. of #8 shot in the light green Remington premier case.Alliant changed the formula for red dot to make it cleaner burning but it's still a bit dirty.I used to use WSL until it was discontinued.I also used to use AA cases but Winchester changed the plastic and they do not hold up for reloading.I started with the MEC jr myself,a good press, and now use a Hornandy Apex(a bit faster).Good shooting,Wile E.
