Im sure this has been asked before but what reloading kit would you guys reccomend for a beginner?? Im looking at a single stage press in a Lee or RCBS. What is the best bang for your buck in these kits?? I'll be loading a 270 wsm and a 22-250. Looking at spending 300 US or a bit more.
Cheers!!

get a manual that has a good section on how to reload (Lyman is a good one to start with) After reading that section and are sure you understand the process and still want to reload go with the RCBS Rockchucker kit. You can save a little money buying the Lee kit but after you get it and then upgrade some of the tools you'd be better off withthe RCBS kit to start.
I don't like the Lee scale so it's the first upgrade I'd recommend and there goes around $75.00 of your savings
Good luck and ask a lot of questions

Cabelas has a RCBS rockchucker reloading kit for about $260. After the first of the year it goes on sale for $210. It may not be that cheap now though. I am very happy with mine, but get a digital scale and digital calipers as soon as you can they will make your life a lot easier.

The RCBS kit as noted by nearly all above is fine. What I ended up appreciated a great deal was the Speer reloading manual that came with it. The explanation of each step in the reloading sequence is outstanding. My first reloads were .44-40 for Cowboy shooting, which involved use of a three die set and cast lead bullets.
The newest Nosler manual has a better caliber selection, but it's explanation of the reloading process is not as good. I would not have known this in the beginning. I saw in the newest Speer manual that none of the ultra mag calibers were covered. Go figure.
