30 caliber bullet that is heavier than 220 grains ? I just came to find out through reloading that they make a 190 grain 7 mm bullet. Was hoping to find something in the 250 grain class for the big bears. Thanks.

I thought that Barnes made a 250 grain 30 cal, but I could be mistaken.

I can't think of any "hunting" bullets out there that heavy in .30cal. Sierra makes some match-kings close, maybe 240grs??? No data handy for me here. Your best bet would be some smaller specialty bullet manufacturer.

Barnes makes a 250 grain 30 caliber bullet available through Midway. It's in their 'O' for original style bullet. What'r you huntin', Rino?
