12ga Nitro hulls vs. STS hulls
I load up shells for trap shooting and I use the remingtion nitro golds. I have heard that they are very close to the same thing as the STS hull. I have tried loading some win. AA and literlly crushed the hull while crimping and iven after adjusting the crimper I still couldnt pull the handle all the way down on them. I want to know if I can use close to the same load on the STS as I can on the nitro's. The mannual im going by gives the load I am using for the nitro and the STS. Will it work with the same results?

other than color i think they are the same, rem. hulls are deeper than win.,but you should not have that much trouble with them. i've been having problems buckleing the new AA & STS 20ga hulls and still getting a good crimp .. just try and let us know

RE: 12ga Nitro hulls vs. STS hulls
I use only the old style AA hulls. I have a Grand 12 ga and RCBS says that it's in the set-up of the machine, but I adjusted it like instructed. They also recomended using only original Win AA Wads, but I havent tried that yet. They reloaded great in my old MEc Single stage! I'll stick to the old styles! Ryan
