Default hercules HR 254

I bought 12 pounds of this stuff at an auction this weekend for $5.50

does anyone have loading data for it for any gauge or caliber?

I figured that for $5.50 I couldn't go too wrong.

Looking up in my old manuals and don't see any reference. I guess you want to make sure its not a "semi" smokeless powder. Did a simular deal with Norma MRP from the 70's . Stuff is hotter than expected. Went over pressure quick. Might want to call alliant at 1-800-276-9337. Curiosity got the best of me, and I called, and they don't know what it is.

I've been loading rifle, pistol, and shotgun ammo since 1954, and I've NEVER heard of this powder!!

I looked everywhere, and could not find it. Better call Alliant Powder like Big Country suggested. Good luck.
