RE: the best hunting bullet
I' ve seen this three years ago...it' s great data........tbbcs sure look good don' t they?.....and another thing is the value of bonded bullets and round nose seems to be good as well.
I also like the looks of the Barnes bullets.....depending on what you' re hunting...it' s very good data.
I' d assume (yea I know) that the Nosler bonded bullets are similar to the other bonded bullets.......and Hornady' s innerbond bullets as well.
It' s a fine piece of work.

You know, the best hunting bullet out there is the one that you put right where you were aiming at.
I have shot Mule deer, whitetail, and Pronghorn. I used the " factory junk bullets" for all of them and as long as I do my part by putting them in the vital areas, all of the bullets worked.

I think it is great info. The author did a great deal of work putting this together. The premium bullets look good as most always but I am impressed with the Remington Round Nose CL. They compete well with the bullets on this chart all the way down to 1400 fps.

RE: the best hunting bullet
This is kind of funny seeing this post here. My wife is a cousin of the author.
The author Gary Sciuchetti personally gave me a hard copy of this article complete with a bullet poster for a wall hanging.
I am glad to see this information is still floating around on the internet. I can not recall the magazine that published Gary's bullet test, I think it was Shooting Times???
Gary also preformed some bullet tests on the Swift Scirocco's. He told me he really liked the Scirocco.
I will ask Gary over Christmas if he plans on putting together another artical & poster that will cover the bonded bullets also?
