btw 50 grains of IMR 3031 and a 215 fed primer and a 400-405 grain bullet have proven to be very effective and accurate in my browning BLR
its fast becoming the thicker timber hunting favorite,, I bring it too the local range sighted in at 200 yards ,its well under 2" in a 3 shot off the bench rest group,
I get guys asking me .....don,t you worry about not being able to make 300-500 yards shots?
my reply... in the last 50 plus years Ive had the opportunity make shots over about 250 yards about 5 times, MAX
Ive had far more shots taken and made at under 130 yards...things could easily be different where you hunt,
but if your comfortably slowly drifting through thick timber, watching, glassing, , youll seldom see game past 150 yards
